Brian Dillard

Dr. Brian G. Dillard is a seasoned Air Force and Space Technical Director with over 40 years of distinguished service in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. His expertise spans cyber operations, digital systems engineering, human performance metrics and cloud migration—leading large-scale technical projects with significant financial and strategic impact.

A retired U.S. Air Force officer, Dr. Dillard served more than 20 years as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, where he conducted criminal investigations, intelligence operations, cyber threat analysis, and force protection assessments. His leadership has been instrumental in managing complex contracts exceeding $500 million, consistently delivering mission-critical security and operational excellence.

Dr. Dillard is also a dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience teaching computer science and business at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He currently serves on the faculty at the University of Central Florida and Webster University.

He holds an A.S. in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force, a B.A. in Communications from Concordia University Wisconsin, an M.A. in Information Systems Management, and a Doctorate in Management and Leadership from Webster University. He also completed a post-doctoral graduate certificate in Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering Environments from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Dillard’s professional certifications include GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC), ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, Six Sigma Gold, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS). He has authored and co-authored numerous papers on cybersecurity, cloud systems, SAP material destruction, and risk management frameworks. He is a former member of the Cybersecurity for Executives Advisory Committee at the University of South Florida.
